Description
This is a committee meeting on my Bill HB742 that has 4 sponsors. I am trying to prevent NC from placing an excise tax on Marijuana and anything made from marijuana like rope, textiles, necklaces, and medicine. This Bill also is supposed to prevent NCDOJ from adding the weight of water, dirt, or rocks. Iredell County Sheriff’s like to weigh the water, rocks, and dirt to add extra prison time and civil fines (excise tax) because they recieve 75% of the excise tax revenue back for their efforts. A
