People stereotype on dreadlocks everyday. Marijuana is one of those things that many people do undercover, yet dreads get the rap that we all do it. For the most part it’s true (from my research) but many people still do not participate. May as well admit to the fact now.

there’s always some truth in stereotypes
Was always infatuated by them since a young kid. I loved the idea of having long hair when I was little, Im in it more for the style of locks, not the beliefs behind it. Although being brought up Jamaican, I appreciate and practice certain rituals/beliefs from the dreadlock culture, things such as being one with the universe and unconditional love. Why do you have locks?

I will say that the majority of ppl Ive met in my life with locks smoke weed and the stereotype pretty much sticks. On the other hand I have locks and I dont smoke weed. Im muslim and when I tell ppl I have locks they are so suprised.
