whats up Jason , ive had a little grow experience , l have found it can be
a fine line to know when to cut down bud. some stains time out and finish
exactly when time is up and are best at that time , even if the grower has
not planned for that date by flushing etc its stil better to cut then but
flushing is needed to be done before cutting agreed. l have also found that
smell is a big indicator , when they sweeten up thats the time to cut
remembering plants rippen after cutting and finish off then as they have
been cut . longer grow periods do grow bigger buds yes as long as you have
optimum grow conditions and your powdery mildew hasnt affected your wet
buds which can happens so fast . l have tried going longer till the hairs
are 40 percent brown but it always seems to decrease smell and flavour , or
maybe l was doing something wrong .
should plants stay smelly and gachie and even better right untill picking
thats my question ?
wow you say they are good growers? a good grower know when to harvest.
they are not done yet your wasting your time!
I myself had to learn from my own mistakes. yes I would allow these buds to
go 2 more weeks.also I would start flushing now. to each his own.
Yeah I’m a lil curious about the growers too. Seems like they spent a LOT
of $$$ on the set up, who the hell taught them when to pull it? If no1 did,
this is a great example of jumping into a project with little to no
knowledge of how to complete the task properly. RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH
Right on time!! Much appreciation. It would be nice to save the hard work
and harvest well. Great insights. Thanks!
hoping you start to dabble in the autoflower side of things. from my
perspective being north or the border and living in canada are summers are
getting shorter and shorter so that would be the first bonus. besides that
its easy to pull up videos on youtube of guys pulling massive 20oz 3 plants
or 6oz+ singles plants indoors in 60 to 80days so it would be cool if you
looked further into this so the canada scene could possibly revolutionise a
new type and opportunity of the scene that seems to be neglected in other
regions with better weather climates
Try and get the room dialed in,it’s key to the plants water and food
uptake..And more of course..Hope this helps out a bit peace and love always
jason..
Great info. Thanks
I can understand the need for meds!!! That being said”if they know they are
harvesting early they must have a need for it”!! Take down a few and leave
the rest up!! Have them look at the difference in the final product. The
quality alone should do all the speaking for you!! It breaks my heart to
stop the true potential or for that matter never see it at all!!! Jason
find them a true 8 week strain and all should be well!!
Jason is correct, those girls are early, still can pack on lots of weight
and sugar
I agree with your assessment. And like your show thanks for all you do jay
Your not doing yourselves any favors your losing a good amount of swell
and not to speak of resent which is building up daily mature buds also
taste much better Just my 2 cents, great vid Peace
Always hurts my feelings when people cut early they don’t understand how
much medicine they miss out on.. Alotta people do it with ogs alot only run
them for eight weeks I run.mine ten and like double the yield if not
atleast an extra one third in weight justvcause I wait two extra weeks
Looks like they’re a bit magnesium deficient too (red stems & petioles).
say jason, why are my outside bud pistles already browning or looking a lil
burnt on tips?

In this video Jason covers a patient garden where the plants are premature
at the time of Harvest. Floral formation is key to understanding harvest
time in any given Strain of cannabis.
Predisposed in the plant’s DNA is the calyxes (pre-flowers) appear as
individual, small green leaf coats surrounding an ovule at the stem/stock
with a pair of thin white, yellowish green, or purple pistils attached to
the ovule and extending out from the calyx. As the calyxes begin to age and
mature, they grow and form more pistils, increase resin production, and the
calyxes swell while floral production reaches its peak, at which point we
turn to the microscope for final confirmation. From this point on, the
pistils begin to swell only slightly. Often pistils, when mature, will turn
brown, red, or orange. The glandular trichome’s of the cannabis plant are
in full spectrum during this transitional juncture of the plants life
cycle. Under the microscope one can see these molecular changes as the
color of the glandular trichomes change from clear, to milky, to amber, and
observe glandular trichomes start curling to the side. Others will have the
heads fall off as they finish their cycle. The swelling, size, and colour
off the glandular trichomes help growers determine optimal harvest time.
All this is proof of full flower maturation, scientifically confirming the
flower has expended and reached its peak production levels predisposed in
the DNA of the genotype. – See more at:
