My Very First Grow Closet! Update #2
Here are the changes I’ve made to my grow room. Clearly It isn’t “completely” light proof so if you have any suggestions on how I can light proof the two different areas I’m open to suggestions.
As you have it set up yes. That AC type is very inefficient because it creates a negative pressure on the room due to it’s single hose design. It is basically sucking air out like a inline fan at the same time as cooling.
There are ways you can hook that model up so its intake and exhaust are both vented , basically making a square duct to connect the back through the wall like the exhaust is now.Or what I did when I used that model. I cut a hole and suck the whole thing half way through the wall just like a window/wall AC. It increases the efficiency hugely and eliminates the smell issue.
