What if I put drugs in people he he
v omg theres like, barley anyone who’s straightedge anymore. I was straightedge for about 10 years but I stopped calling myself that because on rare occasions I like to smoke marijuana, but I still feel the same way about alcohol an cigarettes and what not.
I used to be hardline but now I just don’t care what ppl do to themselves, but its still frustrating to me why people drink, smoke, and do drugs and conform to society and can’t think for themselves.
It was a valid question. And yes, psychiatric institutions are part of mental health care but they’re not coterminous. You can receive mental health care and not be an institution. Clearly that was the point, jackass.
And thank you for admitting you are fine with society taking control over someone else’s body. Bye! Fucking retard.
Oh boo hoo, walk the fuck away then if someone smokes in-front of you, you’re not being force fed marijuana.
“severely punish”? and what punishment would that be? a life sentence because you’re an uptight cunt?
Why does anybody do anything? Because they want to. Doesn’t have to make sense to us, if people find pleasure out of doing something they do it. Like BDSM porn.
I don’t do drugs and don’t encourage it, but unless somebody is hurrting others, i’m not going to try to stop them from doing it. That’s a personal decision they have to come to on their own. I agree that alcohol, tobacco, and most drugs (prescription included) aren’t good for you, but it doesn’t mean that it should be illegal.
I didn’t say it was invalid but broken. Don’t put words into my mouth.
Since it was a broken question, your intent of point wasn’t clear, “jackass”.
And I did not admit to anything of what you said I did. I said placed in mental health, that does not dictate taking control over somebody.
And with an IQ over 70, I’m not considered a retard, sexually active or not.
Im Straight edge and i really don’t give a crap if Marijuana gets legalized
I support the Legalization of Marijuana providing that its use is heavily controlled and rules come into place that severely punish those who break them
Smoke in your own home fine i have no problem with that
Smoke it in a bus shelter… Hell no
Im fine with people smoking that crap but they better have the decency to take other people into consideration
I wont tolerate some dickhead smoking Marijuana around me
once*
Of course we should legalize it.
We should look at other countries who have it legalized, and learn from them about policies.
Legalize means “to make legal”
Legalized means, somewhat obviously, “made legal”
Legal=/=legalized
Made legal=legalized
Made legalized=Redundant
You never heard that tobacco (I meant on smoking) is bad for smokers and people around them? You never heard that a lot of underage kids become smokers? Never heard of people who want to smoke where is forbidden? Never heard of people who smoke cigar every 15 min?
And even completely independent people can bring them self to hurt others.
Before you ask question why is something morally bad,you have to know why it is morally good.
I dont see to be rational and moral to do drugs
In The Netherlands they have drugs split into two categories: Softdrugs and harddrugs. Based on acceptable and non-acceptable (health)risk. Marijuana is softdrugs and cocaine is harddrugs here. I think that is a smart way to deal with your question.
And I think that marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol, because no one has ever died from marijuana use only.
Yeah, just seems the the word legal is enough for most sentences, such as above: Marijuana should be legal. Just a common thread in modern English that I have noticed. Everything seems to be “ized”, somewhat unnecessarily. Prioritise/ize for instance, not a word in my dictionary, but used often. Thanks all the same.
How is you even existing?
Well yes we should. All drugs should be legal.
What do you mean “new”? The word “legalize” (and the participle “legalized”) has existed since the early 1700s.
Not to mention the insanely useful attributes of hemp! It can change the world
And I wont consider people 100% normal who have turn on to be beaten or to beat others.
Drugs effect on people behavior and that behavior might effect of others around them, that is why “unless somebody is hurting others” is very stretched,in many cases what we do in normal life can effect others and now add intoxication from drugs there, hurting others is inevitably.
For example usage of tobacco is very well known and observed that people of all age abuse it and damage self/others…for what?
I didn’t answer a broken question, no.
However, if you want to ask me if I think people who are mentally unstable and at high risk to be harmful to themselves or others, then yes I think for the health of the society people of that nature should be placed in mental health care.
See how easy it is when you state a valid question instead of getting pissy over your bad phrasing being pointed out?
For the record, ‘psychiatric institutions’ are part of ‘mental health care’. Get it now?
People damage themselves/others over tobacco? For it to be very well known and observed, i’ve never heard that before. I know it’s addictive, but not like that.
And by hurting others, I mean physically hurting others. Like robbing people and stealing out of your moms purse for drug money. Or maybe a parent completely neglecting their child to do them. If someone is completely independent, can sustain their own habit and not bother anyone else, who’s to say what they’re doing is morally wrong?
