I think if obama would continue to own the republicans then the republicans would go extinct and some progressive party would become the second big party and the democrats would be forced into the position of the conservatives which would result in their extinction aswell so they are trying to do a “balance policy” which means that everytime they win an election they fuck up after that to give back some power to the republicans and continue this endless cycle

Because the alcohol lobby sat him down and explained that, when grown on a commercial scale, pot will be VERY inexpensive. So cheap, that according to studies, a joint would cost just a few cents.

Obama smoked weed, and that dude went to Harvard, as well as became president. Case and point right there.
The only way the war on drugs was a failure was that it couldn’t stop drugs…it was a complete success in putting money in the hands of criminals and law enforcement agencies and this is the ONLY reason they don’t want the “war” to stop. Stop drugs? There would be fewer criminals to lock up and get tax money for and the money received from “rehab” meetings that “criminals” have to pay for themselves would be lost. They don’t want to stop drugs – they just don’t want them legal.
Legalization of cannabis is not a right/left issue, it’s strictly a statist/non-statist issue.
What the hell. They pass a landmark law, but now they want to take it back? Why vote…?
