Let me rephrase the statement about it not being possible with marijuana. What I really meant was I don’t think it’s possible to be addicted to the degree of other hard drugs. I just don’t see someone selling all their possessions and blowing all their money, and cutting ties with families, and stealing, and becoming a homeless street beggar just because of marijuana. I see marijuana “addiction” as more of something like a food addiction or sex addiction.

It works in the netherlands.. why not in america? 😀

SSRI’s (or Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) allow your brain to make more use of the serotonin it has. And yes. They take up to 6 weeks to take effect. Seek behavioural therapy; neurochemical changes can only do so much if you don’t change your behaviour to suit them.

I am currently in highschool(sophmore)and smoke weed on and off. It is good, but I’m not addicted and have no urge ever, but if It’s there i’ll do it. Also,anyone can get addicted to anything, some more than others.

I’m the asshole? Why don’t you check your facts. If you go to the wikipedia page for long term effects of cannabis you’ll find links to 118 peer reviewed studies that support these findings. Come at me once you’ve read them.

If you are living in Mexico I am sorry, not that Mexico is a bad country to be in, but just a dangerous one. The drug war in the south is not to be down played, the numbers are huge. Bigger than previous South American crime rates in Colombia and the like. For sure a serious issue, that the people of the U.S. gov. DEA, ATF, and Canadian forces have fucked up on. If we take away the cash flow, we can begin to overpower them.
