Let’s talk about politics, and smoke some cannabis! There will be a lot of things to vote on this coming November, not the least of which is the president. I won’t be voting for Romney, Obama has let me down, Gary Johnson has weird ideas about education and privatizing everything. But Jill Stein, the Green Party nominee for President has values and goals very similar to my own, and most cannabis users. Prohibition is in my option messing up the economy, and getting in the way of straightening of corruption in politics in general, which is at the heart of the ecoblems.
But that said, restarting the Workers Progress Administration (WPA) and the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC’S) and getting around to the long over due maintenance and upgrades to our crumbling infrastructure could snap us right out of this whenever we are able to redirect the funds from the complexes currently extracting them.
It is unfortunate that the majority of politicians that support legalization or medical use of cannabis are proponents of more stringent firearms law. I cant understand how you can see one issue with such clarity, but have such lack of understanding in regard to another.
You’ve got to ask yourself what rights are… It’s just force where there previously was none.
I’ve always liked the Green Party. Sadly, they won’t be on the ballot in the state of Indiana, I don’t think. I’m really happy you’re looking at your choices, Mark, even if you still vote Obama. The more you know what your choices are, the better prepared you are.
