You’re Probably Using Pots That Are TOO SMALL…

Description

I dropped the light down to 70% and checked PPFD, and the plants were looking incredibly healthy; strong structure, great color, and no signs of stress.

This run followed the classic living organic soil method using 15-gallon containers, which made a huge difference. While 10 gallons can work, going smaller usually forces growers to rely on constant inputs and corrections.

With larger containers, the system did most of the work. Instead of reacting to problems, I was able to plan ahead; dial in the environment, maintain a mulch layer, and let the soil biology handle the heavy lifting.

I only added a compost tea and one feeding with Organics Alive as the plants got bigger, but honestly, plain water and good soil could have carried most of the grow.

This showed how living soil isn’t just about products, it’s about building a system where everything works together so you don’t have to keep fixing problems.
