Episode 15: Week 15 Series Update, Day 21 Flower Progress, EarthBox Top Dress & Autoflower Harvest

In this episode, Season 3 of the 2×4 Grow Tent series continues with the Week 15 series update as plants reach Week 3 (Day 21) of flower. I evaluate flowering progress, perform an EarthBox top dress, compare the Cocoon and Silver Lotus cultivars, and harvest a Kroch Monster autoflower growing alongside the vegetable garden.

I begin with a Week 3 flower update, taking a close look at how both cultivars have progressed through stretch and into early flower development. I compare the Cocoon and Silver Lotus genetics, discuss differences in flowering speed, canopy structure, and stretch characteristics, and demonstrate additional supercropping to maintain an even canopy while preventing branches from growing into fans and lighting.

Next, I inspect both growing systems by checking BluMat moisture levels, EarthBox reservoir status, feeder root development, and overall living soil health. I explain why the EarthBox is ready for another top dress, how the plants are consuming nutrients during early flower, and why timing nutrient applications before deficiencies appear helps maintain vigorous growth throughout bloom.

From there, I prepare and apply an EarthBox top dress using BuildAFlower, Craft Blend, Kashi Gold, and Organics Alive to replenish nutrients as flower production accelerates. I discuss my reasoning behind the recipe, watering techniques, feeder root activity, and final canopy adjustments to improve airflow, light distribution, and overall plant performance heading deeper into flower.

Finally, I harvest a Kroch Monster autoflower grown in an AutoPot XL alongside the vegetable garden. I share my first impressions of the plant, discuss how it performed with minimal training, compare autoflowers to photoperiod plants, and provide an early look at the harvest before returning later with a final smoke report.
