“You don’t want to have it too tight to the point you can’t get it out and
bust a bulb, then your hood is no good” Great tip, looking out for New
Growers who might make this mistake.
Something I have heard is, you can go cheap on a bulb but change it out
after every grow to keep the lumens high. So say you run a 20 dollar bulb
compared to a 60 dollar bulb it will take you 3 grows to spend 60 dollars
in buls. But you produce more lumens with a fresh cheap bulb every grow
than a more expensive bulb that will lose to many lumens in 3 grows.

Thanks for sharing man. Personally, I use nothing but Hortilux. They
always look brighter than any other bulbs I’ve tried. I change them every
2 grows or every 4-6 months. Not really sure if that’s completely
necessary, but better safe than sorry I guess.
looks clean, Nice set up… i use and bulb extender in my XL hood to
balance the canopy seems to be more efficient..Peace
Was Mr. Loose required to pull the old ones, or did you just do it from
your backside? How many growers does it take?? haha
Seems to be brighter and Im sure it is. May invest in a light meter to know
for sure how much your bulbs have down graded to keep your garden at max
potential. Heard of some bulbs loosing up to 50% after 2 grows. They are 1
of the most expensive parts of the grow so you might as well keep them at
there best effectiveness. Just a waist of power if not. Looking good. .
Great vid. I’m really digging the new intro. I am looking to run a simular
set up(2 lights and I think the same exact tent). I have a few questions
for ya. How high do your temps get?? Do you run ac?? Is temp concern the
reason why u run 600’s?? I was looking at those exact hoods on htg, but I
am also considering the magnums xxxl. Do u think it is worth the extra
money for the xxxls or should I stay with htg?? Sorry for all the questions
but I believe in finding someone who knows what they are doing and emulate
