Im not sure how your looking at this. Ec is actually the “standard notation” reading of your nutrient water. Easily comprehendable for anyone in the world to understand what this grower is talking about, thats why he refers to Ec instead of PPM, to cut the confusion out of the equasion. there is only one measuring value for Ec, and thats Ec. There are atleast 4 different conversions that i know of from Ec to ppm depending on which meter you have.

thank you so much for mentioning this. i tried to explain to this dud e several tines that i knew ec is universal and everthing is measured in ec and i understand that. he just didnt realize that there is more than one conversion for ec to ppm and i was just curious what pen vader was using so i could figure out conv rate just outta curiosity and dude i think got my question confused. glad you understand. people need to educate themselves before they try spittin knowledge they are unsure of.

Just having and using tds and ph meters will increase success..even in soil.. When I grew in soil, I used them to figure out how much the soil was affecting PH by simply shaking some water up with my soil, letting it settle and then measuring the ph tds etc… I figured out how to give the plants what they wanted using this (i know) odd method and was able to ppull half a pound from 1 lil old plant in under 4 SQUARE FEET.. repeatedly Get yourself a meter and play with it..you will learn alot
