Episode 3: Day 10 Growth, Tray2Grow Irrigation & BluMat Comparison
We’re 10 days since transplant in the three-tent side-by-side grow, and we’re already starting to see some differences between the setups.
I start by checking the Blueberry Muffins under the Grandmaster Tent Ultimate lights and looking at how well they’ve recovered from transplant. All three plants are showing healthy new growth, but the 30-gallon Grassroots living soil container with the BluMat has a slight head start, which I think comes down to both the original plant size and having consistent automated irrigation almost from the beginning.
The big change in this episode is turning on the AutoPot Tray2Grow systems for the first time. Until now, I’ve been hand watering while the plants established themselves. With the reservoirs opened up, we’ll get to see how quickly the plants respond to the bottom-watering system and how the moisture levels compare with the BluMat setup.
I also check in on the Grandmaster lighting and under-canopy setup, cover crop growth, moisture readings, and overall plant health while explaining what I expect to see as we move toward flower.
With all three irrigation systems now running, the side-by-side comparison is starting to take shape.
