Oh also dietamacious Earth/ or DE can be layered on top of soil also to
prevent mites and i have seen people put mylar or reflective material
around bottom of plant like a xmas skirt to reflect light from bottom also
said to prevent mold or mites i forget
I recycle, w/amendments based on subcool’s supersoil, growingyourgreens on
YT and “terra preta”
and I do get better taste and potency than anything I’ve tried out of a
bottle

Im on my 4th time recycling my soil. I amend the dirt and it keeps getting
better every time! I started using the GeneralOrganics but have now moved
away from the bottled nutrients and just use simple teas and top dressing.

Gratz on harvest .Sorry a few didnt make it.
Imma throw out my ideas just to toss around the thinking pile.
1.Yea more holes in pots sounds good even though it drains well a few in
the center may help.
2. How many fans you guys using ? Atleast 2 or 3 enough to keep plants
moving..Helps prevent mites.
3. How many preventative sprays did you guys do ?like spray for mites
before you got them? i see alot of people using their transplant time to
douce with preventative spraying also a moment to use some root magic stuff.
4.I cant seem to find what happened to your plants .Looked to be some type
of bad bacteria but after months of youtube only saw it like 1-2 times.But
idk im sure grasscity or your forum buds should know hope you find out what
caused the death of some plants and pass the info along.
Yea im not a grower yet till i move just been reading and watching
everything i can find so i hope something helps ..

holes shouldve helped i think. roots per container= not so good,,,, get
round pots, they seem to do better. but again u need more holes it helps
with drainage
Smoke some of that silver haze before deciding brother. I had a White Widow
that did the same thing but it actually a great smoke.
it just makes more sense to have more holes

I’m not a grower, but I watch a lot of growing videos. Missouri is going to
vote on full legalization in 2016, it’s something I want to get my hands
into along with my home brewing. There is another grower on youtube
(Growing with Mr. Tight) that recycles his soil by simply pulling out the
root mass, shaking out all of the soil back into the container and then
breaking up all of the soil within the container.

When I recycle my soil I just shake the roots out and my final flush gets
it to be clean. As long as it’s still got water absorption properties it’s
still recyclable in my opinion
