I made this video to try and get advice on my setup/nutes/etc…
The suspended light is a 250/400watt HPS white light (I generally keep it
at 400watt) – I’m 4 days into my veg. period and time lights 18on/6off.
I have (I think) high pressure sprayers for watering which I use a 1/4
strength mixture of nutrients (advised by several experienced growers)
including calmag.
I am starting with 8 gal. of tap water (which unfortunately sits at 8.0ph)
and slowly regulate it with liquid ph-down until it eventually settles at a
nice 6.0-6.2ph.
As of now my sprayers are at about 15min on/3hrs off – but was gonna make
it 50sec. on/1hr. off once I get a better timer.
I try to regulate the temp of the res. water at 18 Celsius and the room
itself a nice 24-26 Celsius — humidity: 46%.
I have a low-speed fan blowing indirectly at the plants.
My main concern is the watering times – I am getting very slow, if not
stunted, growth last couple days (including a deep purple on a few of the
stems and leaves) – I keep finding that this could be genetics (which is
possible cuz these are misc. seeds) but I feel like it’s a phosphorous
problem.
This morning I awoken to find the res. water to be at 11 Celsius, yikes.
Btw, I start these guys out in a 60% humidity enclosed greenhouse until
seedling – then I transfer to grow room.
The plants are growing in coco with clay pellets around it.

This morning, afraid of some sort of nutrient problem (and the very low
res. temperature), I cleaned everything out and added a very small amount
of flora bloom I think, [0 – 0.8 – 1.0], to 8 gal of 6.2ph water (24
degrees Celsius) and that’s it…figured they could use a nice flushing out
with almost pure water.
Hopefully someone has some advice for me ‘cuz I’m kinda at a loss here
being my 3rd attempt with nothing going past maybe 2 nodes. Thanks and Keep
