this video is 1 second too long
I smoke before i sleep and i still dream alot so i think i’m not part of the majority thank god :)
Missing REM sleep misses out on practically all of the benefits of sleeping. O.o
Your body revitalizes itself, your brain recuperates, etc. all in REM sleep. O.o Learned that in psychology class.
Thanks for another great video. I am one of those people that just does not either dream or has any recollection of dreaming. Once in a great while I remember that I did dream but I don’t ever remember what it involved at all. What’s your read on how weed might or might not effect this? I doubt I worded that right. Sorry. Peace!
This is very true.
I usually dont dream(because i usually smoke before bed) but when i dont, i am guaranteed to dream every single night.
The only problem is, the dreams are usually nightmares and after a week of it, it becomes like torture.
I thought if you had clear and intense dreams, your brain doesn’t get full rest due to it. But I could be wrong.
When i smoke and go to sleep i wake up more tired, but i can tell ive dreamt, weed probably makes my REM stage shorter. Ive also noticed that when I take a tolerance break i have lot more vivid dreams.
I have to take zopiclone to help me sleep every night, when i can afford it i use cannabis and have a much better relaxed sleep, i wake up feeling better than, when i have to take tablets, tablets leave me feeling dazed and having no energy in the morning,
fuck i would love to meet this guy, peace and pot people.
Hm I always smoke before bed but I still dream a lot. Anyway, I’ll take this into consideration. Thanks Lex.
:p
all good 🙂 the brain, cannabis & sleep are all complex and there’s TONS of variables….this whole REM sleep thing won’t be true for everyone. Its just true for the majority.
The video stops at 4:20
awesome vid again lex!
Smoking doesn’t seem to help me sleep but it makes just lying there in the dark with my eyes closed more tolerable.
