Description
If you’re new, look at the EarthBox.
It’s a SIP, sub‑irrigated planter.
You water down a tube into a bottom reservoir. The soil wicks it up.
Simple.
Here’s our tweak:
Skip the soilless mix.
Run living organic soil.
Top dress heavy.
Clean water in the reservoir.
Let it dry → then refill.
That dry‑back cycle keeps the moisture range dialed.
There’s even a hack where growers add an Autopot float valve and run it as a hybrid system from a reservoir.
Multiple boxes. Automated. Still living soil.
